New Recruitment Functionality

Recruitment has always been a core use case for Overvue, so we've expanded this functionality to support comprehensive pre-interview screening calls. Simply input a job description, and our AI will infer the most relevant screening questions (though you're welcome to edit or write them yourself). Candidates can then complete the call and are scored based on their answers and each question's importance, giving you a clear picture of who's ready for the next stage.

If you’re on an existing plan and would like access to this, please get in touch with us via the chat at the bottom of this page.

Design Overhaul

You've probably (definitely) noticed a significant shift in our application's design. Over the past few weeks, we've been working to improve the UX with a cleaner interface that better reflects our product direction. Functionally, everything remains largely the same, just with a fresh coat of paint.

Bot Collections

We've introduced the ability to create collections (essentially folders) to store and organise your bots. This makes it much easier to find what you're looking for, and lets you limit team access to only the bots they need.

To create a collection, head to the new Collections page in the sidebar and select Create Collection. From there, you can choose which team members have access and which bots are included.

Improved

Choose Your Pre-Pitch Objections:

You can now select what type of objection the bot will present at the start of the call. For example, you can now select "I don't take cold calls" or "I'm going into a meeting", and select the likelihood of this coming up. You can see these new settings in the create or edit bot screens.

Small UI Fixes:

  • After inviting a candidate to an interview, their email now shows in the UI.

  • You can now edit the order that AI bots will be presented in the call blitz.

  • You can now revoke invitations to interviews.

  • Previously there was an objection creation limit during bot creation, this has now been removed.

New

When hiring sales reps, you want to see how they perform in a realistic scenario before hiring them (and realising they can’t handle a real objection).

Role play during sales interviews is commonplace, but it’s typically highly manual (time consuming) and subjective, with decisions often reliant on gut feel rather than objective criteria.

The Timed Dialler Simulation allows you to create and configure a realistic dialler experience to evaluate candidates. They will be taken through a timed assessment where they sell to multiple AI bots simultaneously. Their performance during their session is scored across several competency markers, highlighting top performers.

Hiring teams drop the manual role play headache and get objective, data-backed criteria to uncover their next president’s club member.
